Catching Up

Well since my last post I've updated my PS3 collection with games like:

Uncharted:Drake's Fortune
SF4
Resistance 2
Killzone 2
Assassins Creed


All of them are awesome and must plays. Just started to get some new CD's like the first Daughtery CD and Alter Bridge's CD. Love em. Overall, semester looks really good so far.

Resistance:Fall of Man

Okay guys, I lied. In my earlier PS3 post I stated that Metal Gear Solid 4 was the reason to own a PS3 game wise. I said it was probably the best game ever. I lied. Resistance: Fall of Man is a little better, simply for the pick up and play factor. I don't have to sit through long cut-scenes and can get right to playing. Its seriously the best FPS I have played up to this point.

Eowyn

Not the Lord of the Rings character, but the band. Eowyn is a great lead vocalist. Sadly, this band had to disband because of financial difficulties. They've lowered the price of the silent screams cd to $7.99 Well worth picking up

Innocence & Instinct

At first I was very hesitant about RED's newest CD. While still incorporating the smooth strings harmonics that I had enjoyed in the first CD, the music was decidedly "harder." Well that is all a thing of the past as songs such as Shadows and Death of Me are slowly(actually not so slowly) creeping there way up my top played songs list. A great CD by a promising band.

PS3

Thats right. I couldn't stand not having a next gen system so i finally splashed money down on the PS3. Here is my short list of reasons why.

1. Blu-Ray: The PS3 is one of the best blur-ray players on the market. As with any blu-ray player it also upgrades any standard dvds you may own to 1080i HD quality.
2. MGS4: aka Metal Gear Solid 4. The series is amazing beautiful and I own every one. This game is quite possibly the best game to own....not to mention how beautiful it looks.
3. The sixaxis controller: Very quietly this controller has gone under the radar of most people. Basically this controller was built with wii like capabilities to detect motion. Its used in games such as Heavenly Sword and Warhawk. The even bigger underlying issue is the fact that Sony realizes the importance of this system as is releasing a new "wand" for the PS3.
4. Free access to the PS Network: Free> Xbox Live $
5. The PS3 is a wireless, bluetooth receiver

Life

Short update of my life. My roomie got a wii, which does seem to suck up the free time. I started watching through BSG yesterday. Currently on the fourth episode of the first season(after watching the miniseries). Must say that i am impressed so far. We'll see if this is something i continue to invest in.
