Camp Stories

I use to counsel at an inner city camp called camp hope haven(run by the union mission). There are soooo many stories i could tell that would make some one laugh: the invention of shafer sphere, camp skits, camp songs....really an amazingly fun time.

One week we had a camper come up to us(the junior counselors) and ask us where Bobby was. None of the counselors knew who Bobby was so we started scouring the campus for any one named bobby. Panic set in as we feared that a camper had been lost. Finally, we found the senior counselor for that camper and he informed us that Bobby was actually an imaginary friend. For the rest of the summer, any thing that went wrong and/or missing was blamed on Bobby. At the end of the year camp fire we had a testimonial/story sharing time. One person threw there walking stick into the camp fire to as it was starting to die. Rob(head of activities) then goes "i know something else we can throw in the fire! Bobby!" while mimicking placing someone in the fire. Everyone laughed.

I still like to blame stuff on bobby....or sean . It is always Sean's fault.

Fathers Day

Today marks one of my favorite days of the calender. Why? I love going up to random people and wishing them happy fathers day! the reactions are priceless.

Me: "happy fathers day"
Cute girl at the gym: O.o um...i'm not a father.
Me: "oh you should work on that. I hear fathers are awesome"

new pickup line

I like to pride myself on the ability to say/attempt and pick up line with a straight face. My friend Erin told me a story of a line i'm going to have to use in the future. Erin is currently working at Chic-fil-a and a guys comes up to the counter.

Guy: I'll have 2 number 1's and I don't see your number on the menu but I'll take that too.

Erin: Sorry we don't sell that here.

I thought the line was UH-MAZING! but Erin's reply was sooo much better. She is the super hero of witty turn downs.

So one of my very good friends is out of the states and i made a promise to blog all the fun that happened too me.I'm not sure this is even possible but I'm going to do my best. Yesterday I got a new phone so I could keep my unlimited plan. I got the Droid Razr MAXX so that I could be cool and act like a total boss. It has a huge display...like size of my palm display. When Jess saw it she asked why i didn't just buy an ipad and then use skype to talk. I imagine I would totally get all the ladies walking around holding an ipad up against my face whilst smooth talking them over skype lol. Keeping this first post short because i'm not sure how much awesome i want to share here.

p90x

I'm on week 9 of p90x and doing really good. I miss workouts here and there but I've been sticking to it pretty well and seeing decent results. I'm definitely in better shape but I would say I'm ripped. I bought some powerblocks last night so that I can up my weight on a lot of my workouts. Also, My birfday is a week away. I'm I'm I'm so excited

week 5 update

I'm on week 5 of p90x and still chugging a long. did back & biceps last night and my arms are mucho sore.

On February 17 I'm going to see RED, TFK, and Manafest at the National.

Not a lot to update on any other front. February still has my least favorite holiday and I'm ready for March(MY BIRTHDAY!)
